About Me

My photo
I created this blog back in August 2010. The focus was mainly on Material things. Though I am still a lover of material things however, I feel that there are plenty of bloggers out there that feeds into this frenzy of having this constant want over basic necessities. Instead, this is just going to be a blog about my adventures through life. I hope you enjoy reading my blog!! ^^ Please comment and subscribe!

Whats in your bag!! ~ Day 4

"WHATS IN A BITCHES BAG?!" as XPPINKX would say ~ Day 4

I know I am behind on this October Photoblog Challenge but I've had a rough couple of days due to midterms and massive amount of homework. Anyway, this is day 4! This is what I have to bring with me when I leave the house.

Above items: My purse is actually a limited edition LeSportSac bag that my husband purchased for me on our honeymoon in Hawaii! I absolutely love it because its really lite in weight and give me that pop of color cause I wear BLACK all the TIME! I think its super cute, I simply love the print because it reminds me of the amazing time I had in Hawaii. This print is only available for purchase in Hawaii and Fiji not online.

I also have a coach wallet that I snagged over the summer. I love the little pucker detail it has. Gives it something else than just plan black I suppose. ^^

My makeup bag is actually a Lancome bag if you can't tell by their signature flower. I got this one month ago as a gift with a purchase of $30+. I really love this makeup bag. Its simple, fun and does its job!!

So this is actually the mess thats in my makeup bag. When I was taking pictures of this mess, I came to the realization that I never touch up during the day. EVER! So, WHY THE HELL DO I TORTURE MYSELF WITH THIS HEAVY ADDITION!? I guess its for those just in case moments where you makeup decides to go crazies on you and if you don't have back up you'd regret it. o.O The shit women do to look on point. sigh.
**FYI GIRLS: This is the bulk of my make up.**
only thing missing is my setting powder, which is Lancome shimmery something. It makes you glow from within. I love it!
I have a couple of other shadows that I am still learning to use, but thats about it!

1. This is my limited edition Le Sport Sac Bag from Hawaii (LOOVEE)
2. My "Gift" Lancome makeup bag
3. Mac Poweder brush (for setting powder and blush)
4. My contact lubricants (I don't love any of them)
5. Missha BB creams (#23 and 31 I mix them to get the right color) 23 is way too light and 31 is now too dark. >.< **REVIEW** I've been using this product for about a month now and I have to say my completion is a lot better! My acne scars are fading as well as some freckles AND my acne problem has gotten a lot better!!**  It can get really oily by the end of the day tho...but again I have really oily skin. The pro's definitely outweigh the cons!
6. Lancome eyebrow pencil. (I don't really use this because its not the right color)
7. Sephora brush...I think this is a corner brush or something. (I use this to highlight the corner of my eyes)
8. This is the a brush that I pack color on my lids with. (Sorry, I don't have the correct terminology. Shadows are all new to me.)
9. Laura Merceir eyebrow pencil (my love, the color is fair blonde)
10. Stila lip glaze in raspberry. (I don't wear lip gloss because my husband hates it/ also bc its sticky. but when I need that pop of color, this is what I use.) I actually got this for free from Sephora because I "earned" enough points.
11. and 22. Stila Angle brush and Mac concrete eye shadow. I use this brush to apply the power on my eyebrows.
12. MAC LiquidLAST liner. THIS MY FAVORITE EYELINER of ALL TIME! (you can swim with it, sweat like a lil piggy and it wont budge. I'd be lost without this liner. I have been using this for 3-4 years now. if I had to pick one thing from my makeup bag, this would be it!)
13. Lancome black eyeliner pencil. (I don't really use this even though I should. Drawing in your waterline would make eyelashes look fuller. TOO MUCH WORK!!)
14. Sephora brush. I use this as a blending brush. (HA, I don't know!!)
15. Eyelash glue by dollywink. (Just in case I wear lashes, which is never...)
16. Lancome mascara in hypnose. (Pretty good mascara, runs fast when it gets wet tho...)
17. Random old beat up eyebrow tweezer...(sometimes you just need one.)
18. Benefit lip stain: in Posie Tint. (I use this on my cheeks and on my lips. I like the stain bc it doesn't come off. Again i don't reapply my makeup throughout the day soo...this helps!)
19. My Coach wallet!
20. BobbyBrown Shadows in grey and smoke. (for when I am feeling mysterious.)
21. Mac blush in tenderling. (Very subtle blush.)
23. Mac Shadow in Sweet Lust. (I use this on the inner corner of my eyes. Love the sweet glow it gives. Sometimes i'll use this as a highlighter for my cheeks too!)
24. My house keys and car keys...(lol self explanatory.)
25. My Driod. My Love. I can't leave the house without my cellphone! (no picture. :P)
26. Totally forgot about my lipstick in the middle. Mac lustre in Jubilee. (this is actually nude no my lips. >.< and the Bobby brown lip gloss I got for my wedding day is also nudy on my lips with a pop of pink. too sticky icky.)

**The components that I simply have to have everyday is the Missha BB cream, **
Mac liquidlast, laura mericeir eyebrow pencil, and posie tint by Benefit.

This is my Princess Cut Diamond engagement ring and band. I CAN'T and wont leave the house without this puppy. ^^ I am very happily married.

This is another ring my hubby bought for me. Its a Ice Blue Sapphire ring. I absolutely LOVE it. This was my wedding day gift. ^^ <3

Hope that was enjoyable!!!!

DO NOT USE PANTENE COLOR PRESERVE SMOOTH SHAMPOO!!!

Hello world. Just thought I'd let all the ladies out there know about the issue that I've had for the last month and a half! The top of my head had been stinging and it seems to have been getting worse and worse. Everyday it became more tender, more irritated, more painful. Initially, I thought my showers were too hot. As you know when the water hits your body it is actually a couple degrees cooler than when it hits your head because of the distance the water has to travel it tends to cool off a bit. With this realization, I started taking cooler showers however it didn't change a thing! Then I started to look closer at my scalp. I noticed that I was starting to get thinner on top! AHhHHH! I had a melt down thinking that this stinging was my hair falling out! I think ANY girl would freak if they thought their hair was falling out! Anyway, I was really starting to get worried and I looked into Rogain for women, and I looked into Nioxin which has proven to help hair grow back or at least prevent it from falling out. I made a purchase of Nioxin on Ebay on Oct 4th and has been waiting for the product to come in ever since.

Yesterday I ran out of my Pantene Conditioner and grabbed my backup Dove conditioner and Shampoo. I decided to use both the Dove products and miraculously my scalp didn't sting anymore. My scalp is still tender to the touch but I think its getting better. JUST FROM ONE SHAMPOO!

I was using the Pantene Color Preserve Smooth Shampoo.
DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT! IT WILL MAKE YOUR HAIR FALL OUT AND SCALP EXTREMELY TENDER! BE AWARE! THIS STUFF IS LIKE ACID! THINS OUT YOUR HAIR AND SCORCHES YOUR SCALP!

I can't wait till the Nioxin product comes in. I got the Nioxin system 4, which is for fine hair and targets noticeably thinning hair/color treated hair. I've read many review/ rave(s) about this product and I simply can not wait! I hope this will restore my hair back to how it was originally if not make it even better! I'll report back after 50 days of use as directed for results. ^^

Beauty Sins!!

Important Beauty Sins!
~Think about your future GIRLS~

Beauty Sin 1: Do not sleep on the same side of your face every night. There is something known as wrinkle memory. When you are sleeping on the same side of the face every night your face will remember the same smoosh lines. Use a fluffy pillow or a U shaped pillow to support your neck and your face in a upfront/ on your back sleep.

Beauty Sin 2: I think we all know this. DO NOT SLEEP WITH MAKE UP ON! (its just disgusting!)

Beauty Sin 3: Do not drink through a Straw! It can actually prevent from staining of the teeth because drinking out of a straw by passes liquids past the teeth. Sound like a good idea for white teeth right?! Well, remember that wrinkle memory?! Yes, you will develop lines around your mouth that is ten time worse than whiting your teeth! BEWARE! This also includes smoking...

Beauty Sin 4: DO NOT TUG ON YOUR EYES! The area around your eyes are very sensitive. If you tug but putting on eyeliner, putting in contacts, applying mascara... you will soon develop crows feet and loose skin around the eyes.

Ladies: we all want to stay as young as possible so our husbands do not decide to trade us in for a younger model. Take care of yourselves. Drink lots of liquids and exercise for yourself and for the one you love. :) <3

PANASONIC LX5!!

I just got my Panasonic Lumix LX5!!

I couldn't be more excited right now. I've taken a couple of pictures already and I can not believe the quality. I use to have a canon sd880 which started smoking literally! When ever the flash when off I would smell burning and smoke would come out of the flash area. (I've complained several times and no response. I've concluded now that canon doesn't seem to care about their customers.) Anyway, I've been reading soo many reviews on this Panasonic LX5. So far, every review I've read has been positive mostly.

Look at the beauty! I love the old school look. It looks pretty big because of the build of the camera but its easily purse-able. Its as wide and as tall as a Droid X and yes its a lot thicker but I am already in love with every curve of this camera. It is super sleek, feels like it has a metal body not plastic. So far, it seems like a good investment.

Currently charging the battery. Can't wait to take it out at night to see the wonders of this camera. I hear it has amazing night photography. I've always wanted to find a camera that would work wonders at night. I love taking pictures of food, my dogs, and of everyday life. I love to admire the beauty of food especially under dim/ candle lighting. ^^ So, I absolutely can not wait!!

More to come!! ^^

Skipping Day 6~

Even though I share my thoughts dreams and shops...I don't feel comfortable telling random people about my everyday life. I think that just down right creepy. Thanks!

Something You Bought Today. -DAY 3-

Something I bought Today (Yes, this is one day late >.<)

Went to H&M after XPPINKXX posted a couple of cute pieces she had just picked u p for really good prices. Wanted some cute button up shirts and these were definitely a steal.

This is a blush pink dress up shirt with dark gray buttons. Has puff sleeve detailing that makes it very flattering. I am loving this shirt because of the fit, the detailing and pop of style.

Here it is on a hanger. Doesn't really look blush pink in this picture. However, it is just gorgeous in person! ^^

Here are the button details on the shirt.

A dress that caught my eye. Love the gun metal detailing on the shoulders.

Isn't it beautiful.

This is a three quarter puff sleeve button up shirt. Again, fits perfectly.

The line up. (this was a crime, and these were the suspects!)

Me, up close wearing the black top. Cuff button detailing.

Zoomed out for a fit check photo.

H&M is having their anniversary sale and its a pretty good steal all around. The black button up as well as the white button up were $24 originally, $10 off makes it about $14 dollars each. The blush pink button up was $12 for a nice button up is also ridiculously affordable. I believe the gun metal detail shoulder dress was about $30. Also a steal for such fashionable dress. :D
Some failed looks. Just for your entertainment.

I just can't seem to pull of these extremely loose shirts. I looked HUGE!

I actually kind of liked this look. Great for the holidays! Even though it was really cute, I looked as if I had just received my drivers license. >.<

Someone You Adore -DAY 2-

Someone I Adore- Name 5 Reasons

I simply adore my husband. Adore means to honor, with loving admiration, devotion, to worship etc...

I adore my husband because he works his ass off so we can afford the house we live in.
I adore my husband because he is the reason I smile and cry of happiness of course!
I adore my husband because of his amazing personality.
I adore my husband because he is everything I want in a man.
I adore my husband because even though he can be a jerk sometimes... he'll do whatever to make me laugh and smile again.

I LOVE MY HUSBAND!
